Laura's babyshower!

This past weekend my friends and I threw Laura a babyshower at Carter at Main in Elizabethton. If you havent eaten there you really need to, its an awesome place! The staff there was so nice and they created a great menu for us. We had Anna Marie florist create some beautiful arrangements for centerpieces and Another Touch Bakery made a wonderful cake! When Laura walked in she was glowing. She barely even looked pregnant! I have no idea how she walked around in those boots she had on! She got so many neat things for baby Reid. We all are so excited and cant wait to meet him! Stayed tuned for Laura's maternity session!

Meet the Castle's!!

I saw Kim back at the end of August and she was pregnant with her fourth (yes, fourth!) baby! She was so excited because they already had three girls and she was having a boy this time! Fast forward three months...I received a phone call from Kim and we scheduled a session for her family for last Tuesday. When I walked into their home I was blown away. It was decorated from head to toe in gorgeous Christmas decor. Each room had a unique tree and I stopped counting at 7! I can hardly get up the one, yes one, tree I get each year! Kinley greeted me at the door and from that point on it was go, go, go! I had so much fun with the Castle family, thanks Presley, Kinley, Olivia, and Drew for keeping me on my toes!

Meet the Erickson-Rubendall family!!

I had the pleasure this past Tuesday of meeting this neat family! I felt right at home when I walked in and Cooper had the Wiggles on! Of course I know all the Wiggles songs by heart because of my boys! Chloe was so sweet and at the end of thier session, I enjoyed jumping on the trampoline with her. Rick and Amy were both so hospitable and I really appreciated their kindness! Thanks Rick and Amy for letting me into your home and sharing part of your morning life with me!

Chloe's awesome drawing of me with my curly hair! Love this :)

Happy Turkey Day!!!

I really cant believe that its the end of November already, but I'm also kinda glad this year is almost over. If you are any part of my life I don't have to tell you what a hard year this has been for me. Thanksgiving is all about being thankful and I am so very thankful for my friends and my family for all the support and love they have given me throughout this year. Honestly, if it wasn't for you all, I'm not sure where I would be. I'm also thankful for all my clients! If it wasn't for you guys, I wouldn't be able to do what I love the most and that is capture families loving each other!
I'm really glad I got to spend some quality time with my family. My attempt to make Thanksgiving dinner turned out great thanks to Heavenly Ham! Okay, I cheated. Everyone needs a little help every now and then! Ha!

Meet baby Blake!!

This is Blake's 5th session with me this year! He just started walking and is all over the place now! I'm just amazed each time I see my baby program clients at how much their children have changed in just a few short months! Jayne is so crafty. She had this awesome green wagon that she painted and I just had to incorporate into their session. They also have this game they play with Blake where they say "Squeeeezzze it" and Blake will make fists and squeeze them really tight. I'm so glad I caught that! It was too cute :) Thanks, Jayne, Josh and Blake for braving the crisp autumn day for me! I cant wait to see you guys on Blake's first birthday!

Meet Kelly and Jacob!!

Kelly and Jacob are one of my wedding couples for 2008. They moved from Louisville KY to Asheville NC a couple of weeks ago. This past weekend I took a road trip over to Asheville to do their engagement session. I had a couple of places in mind, but when I heard Jacob talking about his hobbies of mountain biking and loving nature, I knew the UNC Botanical Gardens was a perfect fit. I had a great time getting to know Kelly and Jacob and I cant wait to see them again in June!
